Irina Hall - Pianist for Bethel UM Church

Irina Hall skillfully accompanies our congregation, choir and other special vocalists for the 8:00 Blended Worship Service and the 10:45 a.m. Blended Worship Service of the church.  She came to this position abundantly qualified for being our instrumentalist.    You'll enjoy the information below that was adopted from Irina's website, where she offers information about her music teaching services.

Irina began her musical education at the age of six attending the State Music School in Ekaterinburg (Russia).  She completed her studies upon graduation from the Ural State Conservatory in 1984 with a Master's Degree in Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy, Opera Coaching, Accompaniments and Chamber Music Ensemble.

She began her career as both an Associate Professor and Opera Studio Accompanist for the Ural State Conservatory. Many of her former students work for the best opera companies in Russia, Europe and America. In 1996 she relocated to St. Petersburg, Russia to continue her career as Opera Accompanist for the famous St. Petersburg State Opera. Having a large repertoire at hand, she played numerous opera and orchestra performances in St. Petersburg and various Russian cities as well as abroad. As a concert accompanist for many opera singers, she participated at National and International vocal competitions.  Her American debut took place in May 2000 in Eastport, Maine.

After moving to America in 2001 she began working with the Clermont Philharmonic Orchestra as a choral accompanist and orchestra pianist.  She participates in various chamber concerts in the Greater Cincinnati Area and remains a concert accompanist for many great musicians in Russia.   A concert tour to Russia was scheduled for August 2009. 

Irina, and her husband, Doug Hall, are residents of Amelia.
