SUNDAY MORNING CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
On Sunday morning all parents check-in their children in the gym and must pick up their children in the designated classrooms after church. No child will be released until a parent arrives.
Nursery/Childcare: Available for ages 0-2 at all services. The nursery is on the 1st floor near the library and kitchen.
A new pre-school class for children up through age 4 is available at the 9:30 am worship hour. This is a non-rotation class that meets in the first room of the nursery by the library.
Sunday Fun Stations: Ages 3 to 5th grade. We meet every Sunday during 9:30 & 10:45 am service. On Sunday morning all parents must escort their children to Sunday Fun Stations after check-in in the gym and must pick up their children in the designated classrooms after church. No child will be released until a parent arrives.
Promise Land Children’s Church: Ages 3 to 5th grade. We meet every Sunday during 9:30 am service. Parents are to register your children in the gym each Sunday before the service begins. Children attending Promise Land begin the 9:30 hour in the Contremporary Service in the sanctuary, and then are dismissed from 9:30 worship right before the sermon to go upstairs to Promise Land.
How do I decide? Should our children attend Fun Stations or Promise-Land, or both?
One hour attendees: Families attending only the 9:30 hour may choose either the 9:30 a.m. Promise Land option, or the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Fun Stations (Sunday School) for their children.
Two hour attendees: Families attending 9:30 worship, and 10:45 Sunday School should choose the Promise Land Option for their children during the 9:30 hour, and Sunday Fun Stations during the 10:45 hour.
6th Grade Sunday School – Meets in the sanctuary at 9:30 am and then moves to Room 206 after worship.

SEASONAL CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
Vacation Bible School - VBS programming at Bethel UMC is a key part of our children's programming. A vigorous program of Bible drama, Bible stories, singing, crafts, refreshments and recreation is offered for the children of the church and the community. Children of the church and community have enrolled in record number in our Vacation Bible School. In 2010, on 3 of the five days, children's attendance topped slightly over 300 children.
Summer Children's Church Camp - The Children's Ministry of Bethel U.M. Church organizes an annual multi-day Children's Church Camp during the summer break from school. We've been blessed to locate the camp in the facilities of the nearby Woodland Lakes Camp between Bethel and Amelia. A wonderful action-oriented camp with Christian lessons, singing, recreation, and activities blesses attending children with great memories to last their whole life. The camp includes well-maintained facilities for lodging, meeting, eating and recreation, both indoors and outdoors.
