REGIONAL, STATE & NATIONAL MISSIONS OUTREACH

United Methodist Missions supported through Apportionments - General Apportioned funds help us do together what no church, district or conference could do alone. The World Service Fund apportionment is at the heart of our United Methodist presence, enabling Christian mission and ministry around the world.  The Africa University Fund supports the United Methodist-related Africa University in Zimbabwe, educating students who become leaders in government, agriculture, the church, education, business and medicine.  The Black College Fund helps historically Black UMC colleges meet the challenges of the 21st century. The Episcopal Fund our bishops to lead the church in responding to needs related to education, health care, natural disasters, poverty and much more.  The General Administration Fund supports the infrastructure of United Methodism's agencies which deliver our many connectional ministries.   The Interdenominational Cooperation Fund supports ecumenical efforts around the world to foster Christian unity, witness to a common Christian faith, meet human suffering, and advocate for peace and justice around the world.  The Ministerial Education Fund helps support the wide array of clergy recruitment, training and development to provide the leadership for United Methodist Churches.     District Level and Annual Conference apportionments serve cooperative projects within our state and district.

Confessing Movement of the UM Church -  The movement arose in 1994 to invite United Methodists to join in a coalition of support and advocacy for scriptural renewal and spirtual reform of the UMC
